First to clarify the reason I wrote this article. I have been gambling on the internet or at physical betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are bankrupt. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you decide to be aware of your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.
When you notice that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, trust me, this plan RARELY ever operates. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll set to the side before starting your play. DO NOT exceed that boundary, regardless how captivating. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate cup. Do not use your profits no matter what. Once you’ve gone through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, whether it’s on the internet or at a physical betting house, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be a different day, another time.
Always remember, gambling is supposed to be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the cost, do not even start.
